Fall Family Photos

We missed church this morning, so we decided to go take family photos instead on this beautiful fall day!

It was fun! I think I decided we need to do it more often (Not skip church, but take more family photos).

What a beautiful family! I was wondering, has little Zoya been able to put on any weight yet? She is just the cutest little thing! :)

Awesome pictures of your beautiful family! I'm disappointed I didn't get to see you today. I hope you had a great day :)

Oh my gosh! I wanted to comment and say Hope was adorable, and then I thought I would add Zoya is really cute too, but then I noticed how beautiful Liesel looks, and how Ava couldn't possibly get any cuter, and how cool Jude looks and how grown up Simeon looks, and how adorably impish Joseph looks (of course!) and so I decided I'd have to comment like this. :)

What a beautifully blessed family, and such great pictures!
As an adult adoptee I have the utmost respect for families who choose to adopt kids with significant special-needs...it speaks so much to the unconditional love and unselfishness of parents who go that route. Adoption has become such a fiasco it is a shame that the "business" of adoption hinders children who truly need homes from sometimes getting them, because of the fact so many are willing to pay for babies and toddlers with no visible special-needs (and, therefor may be needlessly separated from their mothers or families due to unethical practices, coercion, etc.), versus older children and kids with more significant needs. It is a shame this has happened and that adoption of children who are true orphans costs an arm and a leg. The only answer is more ethical adoption laws, and adoptive parents who advocate for changes along with adoptees and first family members. Bless your sweet family.
