The birthday pictures

The big sister making the cake....
The cake....
The 6 year old birthday girl....
The dog......     Ken and Barbie
Fun with Barbies...The kids wanted me to take pictures of Barbie(s) and Ken.

Nothing induces laughter like Ken wearing a tutu....
....doing a ballet dance and peering into the ballerina music box.

Or a picture of Barbie's backside. I love my nephew's wrinkle nosed, mischievous expression here. ha
They went for a romantic ride on horseback
And then went to bed.
Ken separately of course.
The next morning they went for a swim. Ken where are your trunks?

Cousin Sebastian came to the rescue when Hope's little friend changed her mind about the sleepover at the last minute. She thought she'd miss her mommy and daddy too much, so Sebastian volunteered to be the sleepover replacement. He is a good sport to play Barbies with the birthday girl don't you think?

That cake is AWESOME!! Can you fly her my direction for this weekend? I need to figure out a horse cake by Saturday. I think she is more than up to that challenge. :)

Liesel rocked (!) on that cake. What a wonderful loving big sister. And I loved Zoya's happy face as Hope is looking at her cake. I've said it before and will probably have many occasions to continue saying it, but I think your children are blessed with such a joyful childhood. Thanks for sharing Miss Hope's fun day. She is such a darling little girl!

Nice cake! My sister and I used to take our Barbies on vacation with us and have my mom photograph them in all of the various places we visited. Most notably, a bunch of cheesy tourist places in western South Dakota!

That cake looks awesome. She did a great job!

Love the funny barbie pictures. Great cousin too. My daughter just had a sleep over for her b-day and one little girl did not make it the whole night. I had to call her parents around midnight.

Looks like it was a fun party.

Tell Liesel that I am very impressed with her cake decorating skills!

I can't believe how different Ken looks these days. He got younger!

Happy Birthday to Hope! Liesel, you did a great job with the cake. Very impressive.

Ask Leisel if she gives decorating classes. Great job! Now at least you have 2 6 year olds and 2 5 year olds, right?
