Happy Mother's Day

I hope your Mother's Day was wonderful!

I woke up to a basket of freshly-picked wildflowers, and this little guy wishing me a Happy Mother's Day!

And then a delicious John Urban style breakfast complete with fresh strawberries. Yum!

Hope drew me a Mother's Day message on the board.

John got some honey-do's marked off my nag list to-do list, we called all the Grandmas, ordered pizza, played in the sprinkler, went to church.

....Poor Joseph came down with a fever of 105 by afternoon (glad we kept him in big service with us this morning!) He was absolutely miserable until we could get his fever down. Then he looked up at me, patted the pillow for me to lay down with him, then gave me the biggest kiss as if to say thank you for making me feel better!

Yep, I am pretty sure he is enjoying having a Mama!

Happy Mother's Day everybody!

Two beautiful kids have a mother on Mother's Day for the first time in their lives!! Thanks, Charissa, for making this happen for them and Ava, and for being Mom to your 4 older beautiful and special kids as well. Can't wait for Father's Day to thank my wonderful son in law, John for making it all possible!! Love you all! Oma

Of course he loves having you as his mommy!!! That is one pitiful looking little boy though. Hope he's feeling better. Sounds like you had a wonderful day.

I'm surprised you had any flowers left with your little guinea pig in the basket! We have a little puppy pen for ours, so we can let him play in the meadow behind our house without losing him. He always goes for the wildflowers! Loves 'em! So if we put our cavy in a basket of wildflowers, I'm pretty sure they'd be all gone, along with the paper and bits of the basket! *LOL*

Happy Belated Mother's day to you Charissa. What a special time to celebrate YOU, a very special mom.
Sounds like your kids made your day fun and happy....and so sorry about poor Joseph. He may not feel well, but I'm sure he's peaceful, knowing he has such a good family.
Love you all,
Aunt Sharon
