This is the result of reading three chapters, instead of our usual two chapters of The Red Fern Grows in our read aloud the other day......What I don't have captured in the picture is the two dogs and Ava asleep on the floor right next to them. I must be a REALLY monotone reader!

A couple of mornings ago I was really upset with Hope for getting in the crib with Ava and waking her up at 7:30 when I had put her to bed SO late the night before. I said, "Hope I am really upset with you for waking Ava up!" She responded, "I didn't wake her up. Look mom, it's morning! I can't make the sun come up and make it morning!"

This girl absolutely cannot keep her hands off the little chicks, which are living in our house at the moment until we can figure out where else to put them!

I told you that Ava makes a pretend baby doll out of everything. Here she is, just singing away to her empty Windex baby that she found in the recycling box.

And sorry to anyone who was wanting to make plans to take me out to lunch some time in March. Thanks to Hope I am completely booked up for the entire month. Thanks Hope!

LOL, I was "booked solid" by my then 3 year old too! It's nice to know they have good fine motor control though...

I absolutely LOVE how doting of a mommy Ava is! That Windex bottle has never seen such love :)

Looks like you might be getting a lot of pizza in the month of March. That's what it looks like to me. Hope cracks me up. And Ava is a sweetie.

Pizza?? - maybe - but I thought you are going to be going around in circles most of the time during March, thanks to your little social director.

Oh, that sweet Windex-Bottle-Baby! Who wouldn't love her? I hope you are making a collection of pictures of Ava's various "baby dolls" - what a great imagination she has, and what a loving little girl she has become!

Best wishes,
Susan in Ky

lol all i can say is AWWWWW!!!

It's sweet that Hope climbed into the crib with Ava! What a great big sister she is!

Does Ava have a Baby dolly? Does she turn things into Babies regardless of having a baby doll of her own ?

She seems like a sweet little thing. This post made me grin ear to ear!

It looks like Ava's eyebrows are growing back in? As beautiful as ever, and in fact even more so, as we get to see her expressing the love she knows.

I continue to check in on you all regularly. You have such a beautiful family and live life really well.

I could comment about each and every thing on this post. It is just so cute, sweet and funny!
I admit, my fav is Ava with the windex bottle.
Too cute and precious for words...really.
What a great little family you have! :)

Christina, they are not pizzas, they are "spider webs". But pizza does sound like a good idea!

Yes, she does have plenty of baby dolls, at least 3 I think. But she prefers making up her own version I guess.

And Deb, I looked closer, and maybe her eyebrows are coming in again. Thank you for pointing that out. The dr. said it will probably come and go randomly.

I have officially "cracked up" several times this morning while reading your blog. It is seriously hilarious! Someone once asked me what I would do if I didn't have all of these kids. My reply was, "I would be bored and lazy!" You have a great family!
