Normally Ava rides the school bus every day to school even though it is literally across the street. It's not because I mind driving her but because she LOVES the school bus! She can spot one a mile away and starts clapping and saying "Buh! Buh!"

However with recent heavy storms and flooding in our area, the bus can no longer come pick her up. So I'll be transporting her for the rest of the schoolyear. But what a special treat I saw as I pulled up yesterday to pick her up. Listen real carefully to what she is saying as she walks towards me.....:)

How wonderful! That's still my favorite word to hear too :)
She looks really good with that walker. It won't be too much longer now and she'll be walking on her own!

Awwww :o) "Mama!" then she says, "Mom!"! I heard that song by the Monkey's (I'm a Believer), but by the other band who did a cover of it (Smashmouth maybe?)...and it made me think of you guys. I think you all used it in a video of your family making their way to Miss Ava :o)

And that picture earlier today of Hope and Ava all cuddled together sleeping - talk about take your breath away! So precious :o) Happy Mother's Day, Charissa!

Hugs,
Michelle
