A cow on my porch

I looked up from washing the dishes the other day to see this sight. "Mommy, the calf wants to come in. Can I let him in?"

I couldn't make this stuff up if I tried. In case you have ever wondered but were afraid to ask, a cow CAN climb stairs. Getting back down those same stairs, however, is another story.

Your house seems like so much fun. I just want to come and spend a day with your precious family and do all the fun things you guys enjoy on a daily basis!

Thankfully -we have not had that problem as of yet! 2 of our calves are so huge that I'm afraid they would break the door down!!

Are you getting close to weaning off the bottle yet?

Well, it is never boring at your house, is it????? I love that it is Hope leading the little calf to the front door, w/ bottle no less. How fun. Did he actually make it inside?

You'll find it hard to make hamburgers of this thing if you let him in your house...something to think about. Of course, you could all turn into vegetarians?

Amy, we tried to wean him last week but he mooed and mooed so we broke down and started bottle feeding him again. What a baby!

To the rest who asked, I guess I didn't make it clear. NO he did not come in the house, only his head made it in the doorway!

I've been waiting for this post!  So he hasn't made it in the house yet?  Remember, Greg & I have a bet on when the kids are gonna start having him sleep with them.

Wow I get tired of the cows getting in my garden...going upstairs is a whole other thing! I bet your kids enjoyed it though.
