LOL, you're a proud new mom so where's all the status on this new little one? You are such a better wife/mother than this city mom will ever be. :)

You crack me up!

Just today I was thinking about you and the foster care classes you all went through, then to find out you were led to take the wrong ones. I remember how frustrating that had to be, and yet I knew God was up to something. Has nothing to do with this post, just wanted you to know I am praying for your family and where God is calling you!

LOVE it!!! Carter would be so jealous!
I miss hearing about your family!!
So do you have to bottle feed it?

Yes, he is bottle fed. We've just had him a few hours so we've only gotten to give him one bottle. Can't wait til morning. He is so cute!! I don't know that he has a name yet. The kids were calling him Billy earlier but that is so cliche' isn't it?

My mom gave my youngest brother a goat (he named him Billy) when he was 8 or 9. He was a nut and a brat, but he made us laugh. He used to jump on the back of our pony and stand there. Hilarious stuff! You guys remind me of my family growing up with your menagerie of animals. I grew up on a nursery (tree not baby) and we had lots of cats, dogs, cows for a while, pony, goat, donkey (still alive) and a sheep. I loved it! :)

Goats are so much fun. I had one when I was little, they become like a dog and will follow you around and are very affectionate.

The do eat everything in sight though.

Stephanie, he's a nubian. We don't know the first thing about raising goats, but we'll figure it out. It was a very spontaneous decision. I'll explain in a later post.

If you need help just email me and if I don't know the answer my neighbor will. She has 30 goats and has been raising them for 20+ yrs. Have fun!!! Our Nubians are my favorite.....and the loudest.
