School, continued....

The kids all love their teachers and seem to think there is potential of making some new friends. Thank you Lord for a smooth transition! Ava starts next week. I had a meeting with her teacher today and am really happy about her going to The Little Lighthouse. Loved that the IEP meeting opened with prayer. Wow.

So here is my daily schedule:
7:40 Drop off Simeon
8:00 Drop off Ava
8:15 Drop off Jude and Liesel
12:30 Drop off Hope
(45 minutes all to myself without children)
1:15 Pick up Ava
2:30 Pick up Simeon
3:15 Pick up Liesel and Jude
3:30 Pick up Hope (Pick up time is actually 3:15 but can't be at both schools at once)

:( So much for cleaning my house, baking cookies, reading, watching Dr. Phil, eating bon bons.......

Wow! And I was thinking your schedule was going to be EASIER with the kids in public school this year! Guess not! Isn't there school bus service where you are?

Yes the bus can come, but I'm not sure how I feel about that yet. I'm driving them for now until we can figure out a better way. Probably will end up using the bus some. Also, I am waiting to see if Hope can be moved to morning preschool. That would definitely be an improvement to our schedule.

Man, I'm not feeling this public school thing at all. I agree with a previous post, take the bon bons with you and eat them in the library!

Can you check out the kids books too as it seems there will be kids int he car a lot. (little women type classics?)

Whew! I'm tired just reading your schedule. I live right by Little Lighthouse, so if you ever get in a major pinch, let me know.

I took the bus to school and I turned out okay. :)
I actually think I was lucky because all the Korean kids here have to take public transportation. It's a little sad, but I guess it teaches them responsibility.
