A towel for a saddle, a dog leash for reigns, and the closest thing to a horse a 9 year old girl could find.......I think somebody really needs a pony for Christmas.
Wow, who needs a horse with a sweet calf like that? LOL! Can't wait to see the photos of her new friend. And to think we were worried our kids wanted a puppy for Christmas!
Don't get a pony; they aren't a very tolerant brand of horse. Get a different breed. I know you love Craigslist and there are some nice horses on there for sale. FYI. You might be able to adopt a horse from a local horse rescue. My in-laws have 3 that they have rescued and they are awesome horses. I'm not an equine expert yet, but if you have any questions give me a shout.
Oh, how I laughed, and laughed...you know I got my first horse when I was about Liesel's age....and the fun I had! I'll be praying for another member to the Urban clan!
Charissa, thank you so much for your wonderful posts about your children and about your African adoption journey. I can count on your blog to put a smile on my face! It is my hope that I will be able to be a resource for you as you raise your extra special children! Come on by anytime!

Your calf is so patient! Ours have learned to RUN when they see the kids! :)
OK. That calf can never be dinner, you realize that? How sweet. I can't believe she was able to ride it. She's a natural when it comes to animals!
