Wow, those are awesome photos. I think I know now what I want to do when I retire....walk around in one of those plantation dresses on one of those plantations and greet people. :-)) When I lived in Tennessee I LOVED it out there. What a treasure of memories you have now. Thanks for sharing.

You sure did pack a lot into one week! It was wonderful to meet you and the rest of the Urbans! Wish we lived closer--that would be fantastic!

Love it! That is my kind of vacation! Your kids are great ages to take to all those historic places.

I love your family, Charissa. And these photos appear to capture some really special times/memories. I really paused and considered the photo of Joseph and Zoya (?) on the beach with the ocean in the background. My heart just said, "yes", this is the kind of freedom and childhood a child deserves. Was really touched by the site and the consideration of the contrast that may have been their reality had you and John not obeyed God's prompting go and bring home more of your family. I wish I had something like a timeshare of home in a vacation spot. I'd lend it out to you all without any delay. :-) Glad you all had such a good time. Next time you drive cross-country, maybe we could meet.
