Check this out

I send a little notebook in Ava's backpack back and forth every school day to communicate with her teacher. Check out the note I wrote today, and the response I got back.....

I wonder if she meant "Mama fixed my hair" or if she meant "Mama thinks my bows are pretty too." Maybe she simply meant, "I love my mama!" Needless to say, this note melted my heart!

How wonderful!!!

Isn't it amazing how each of the little steps that some people take for granted means bushels to others!

I loved watching Ava sign the other day - it was uber cute!

Take care!!!

Ava meant to say all those things! And she did, with just one one word.

Lovely.

Oh that is so precious!  Sit to stand - I had no idea!  What progress!  Her hair is filling in, she's telling her teacher that her Mama put a pretty bow in her hair....who would have imagined all this?

You are so blessed to have communication from your child's school! I have twins with autism and MR and when they were small the teachers told me they were too busy to write notes back to me. As a home school mom, that really broke my heart. I am now teaching them again and have been for the past six years. What a beautiful family you have! Thanks for sharing you adventures with us!
