Oh dear...what happened?? Did that happen naturally (alopecia...not that it's "natural"), or by someone shaving them?

Is this what you were mortified about on facebook?

Poor mommy :( I'm sorry Charissa. I hope they do grow back in. I'm guessing it's the alopecia? Have you talked with Christina (kwisteena1021@blogspot.com) or Jen (on ROA) about it? Both kids have lost their eyebrows for a time but they have come back.

(((HUGS)))

Ava's absolutely adorable even without them!!!

My son who is 14- has a friend
with alopecia- He has no hair anywhere on his body- He had
test and they determined that it will never grow back- It is what it is and the kids all accept it-
His friend is very healthy besides
this.
I think he had tuffs of hair until
he was 12 then finally decided to
shave it all off.
Ava is such a sweety- I hope her
hair will grow back!

I guess I'm not a very observant person because I had to read the comments to find out what indeed was missing. She is such a beauty with or without those eyebrows. Praying though that you will find some answers and help for her alopecia.

:( Not that it makes you feel any better and I know you already know this, but I think she looks just as beautiful! I'm so sorry she lost her eyebrows. Darah has alopecia, although we haven't had any really obvious hair losses. Every patch of loss she's lost, we've been able to move her hair part and no one knows. I pray that Ava's eyebrows come back in. Did that just happen overnight??

However, her eyes are beautifully straight!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ava is still as beautiful as ever...

Will they grow back?

ya, I missed that too, she is so fair skinned, I thought you meant her eyes look so perfect now...

Oh no, poor Ava :(. She is still a doll though.

If it is alopecia, there are several things I know other parents have used to help the hair grow back. I'd be glad to forward the info to ya, just let me know :).

Charissa, I had to look at the comments to find out what was missing. I was so impressed with how well her eyes are focusing now and how healthy she looks, I didn't even miss the eye brows. I know it must be upsetting to you, but she is a beauty...brows or no brows! :)

awww.. its ok Ava you are still super cute. The little 3 yr old in my class with DS has alopecia too. They just figured it out and mom is really upset about it because she does not want to use the steriod cream.

Took me a bit before I realized it was her eyebrows. I thought it was her eyes looking clearer and no redness/bags under her eyes now! She is still a beauty! I will pray they grow back because I know it will make you feel better.

I thought what was missing was her crossed eyes. We must be related. Too busy looking into those eyes to notice anything else.

I didn't even notice that her eyebrows were missing ! I thought you were just showing that her eyes weren't crossed anymore ! =] She is still beautiful. Love you guys !
