Here are some photos from the event. Unfortunately I forgot to get a photo of the 'world' on the bald head until the end of the event. It had smudged quite a bit, oh well. The theme was "It's a Small World". I KNOW you will enjoy browsing through the photos of these beautiful children, walking, or rolling their lap while the crowd cheered on their accomplishments. It was a tear jerker for sure. By the way, Ava did so great!

They are so sweet, so cute! Tell me, what is mini-laps about, a few folks talked about it,, is it tuition for Ava? What is the money raised for?

Mini Laps is the biggest fundraiser of the year for the Little Lighthouse. It's a private, christian, tuition-free preschool for handicapped children. Because it is tuition free for the families, they depend on these types of fundraisers to operate.
How on earth did I miss the fact that Ava is now walking??? Hooray for our two artemovsk kids who are NOW WALKING!!!! :o)

I enjoyed meeting you (briefly) at Mini Laps! Hope Ava had a lot of fun making her Lap and is enjoying the school year.
